This journal was begun to suppliment and replace the blog done earlier. It is about photography and art on the computer. I was trying to make a book. MS Works didn't work, or it couldn't handle a book's worth of data. That is why there is no cover or TOC in Tertiary colors 17c.

This was a online blog that was made upside down. I couldn't read it that way so I made it into a pdf to read oldest to newest. It is a journal that was subsiquently replaced by a private journal written in MS Works. Now I use only my web site and Word. I may want to read this version some day so it is being offered here. Dry Plate Photography is the subject matter.

Braddock_Cemetary is a VHS-C movie my sister made of me oil painting. It consists of some still photos and the vhs-c movie sandwiched between. I no longer have the painting as it was done as a commission. It was really more of a challenge to see if I could do it at all. It is painted with oil bars mashed up like oil paint. Spelling is wrong, cemetery not cemetary. "Tarry a moment traveler as you pass by..."

How a nonobjective fine art oil painting was made is the subject of a movie by the painter himself. Everything in the painting was made to look like something. It was copied from another oil painting by the artist where everything in that one was made NOT to look like anything. The movie was shot on 16mm color negative 500T movie film with two different bolex cameras, a H16-T and a H16-RX-1. The RX-1 died during the shoot. The film was made for a film production class taken for Act 48 credits...

How to expose regular 8mm movie film using a Bolex H8RX4 camera and a Weston light meter. The film used in R8mm cameras is different today but still sold and processed. This movie shows how the macro close up lenses are able to focus on the camera manual. It was transferred at home via DIY. If the film were Ranked it would look much better.

Regular8mm and Super8mm Film movie equipment is found in the trash and brought home. Each piece is looked at and saved, except a video camera. That is returned to the trash, where the next generation finds it.
